is AWSOME!!! i just got off the phone with Mike and all i can say is, WOW!!! no waiting, fast connection, VERY helpfull, and very knowledgable and the problem was solved in less than 2 minutes:) if only all company's responded this way..., but i guess since they do not, it works out in SOG's favor. no "real" problem with the knife, just needed a new screw. when i removed the belt clip the G-10 stayed in the threads and i didn't want to take a chance on messing up the threads on the other side of the knife. most company's want you to ship it back for repair(i know, i just went through the same thing with a different company, different problem). i can tell you SOG has some of my favorite knives(vision series is great!!!), now with customer service this good, i will be keeping my eyes open for newer models with the arc-lock(how about arc-lock AND SAT?

Yes it is:) about 7 weeks ago I called up SOG and talked to Ron for a while. He not only took care of my but we also talked about Cars, knives in general and camping. It was cool. Ron is so Enthusiastical about knives and his job, I almost bought a few more SOGs right then.:)

Hi Wayne: Mike is a relatively new employee for me (been with SOG for something over 2 months). We're very excited about him. He's very upbeat, excited about SOG's products, and is very teachable. I'm very glad you were able to touch base with him and have your problems addressed! :)

Hey Heber: It was a pleasure talking with you. I remember the conversation! We'll have to do it again soon. Yeh, I want to sell knives, but my job is bigger than that. I love the product and just want to spread the joy! :)

yes, by talking to him you described him perfectly. he must have "studied" SOG before he was hired, he was knowledgable about the products and really sound as excited as i was about the product.
p.s. how do i get a job at SOG:)

So from Mr. SOG's viewpoint, Ron almost did his job...;)

Actually, Ron is incredibly enthusiastic about SOG and its products... he's contagious... I mean look what he's done to me!!!  :D

I can't say anything but thumbsup for SOG's customer service, they fixed my knife and it wasn't the knife's fault or SOG's that it was in the shape it was but they fixed her up anyway. Good company to deal with. Although it was a very nice sounding lady I spoke with on the phone and not some ole guy, guess I was lucky!

Yes, SOG's customer SERVICE is THE BEST...And it's run by THE BEST in the business (Ron).:).

I just read this thread through twice (some parts for a second run through). Guys, I'm really humbled by all your comments ... (Or really stoned! ;) )

Of course, SOG's ownership and product is going to dictate outstanding Customer Service to back them up. Overall, it's a company-wide mentality. I certainly can't take all the credit (but I can try :D ).

Nah Sog customer service is terrible
Just like all the terrible knives they make

sorry just had to liven things up before all this praise goes to Ron's head

Seriously though I can't say enough good things about my experiences with Sog, so I tend to just gives them all of my money instead.

I just bought another two Sog PEII's bringing my total number of copies of the same knife to 5.

I remember Mr. Don Rearic (www.donrearic.com) saying about a particular blackjack that he adored and he gave all of the ones he owned away, thinking that he could buy another one if he needed it. He then could not find one.

Well the way I see if even if I lose one PEII I shall have 4 more.

Congrats Ron and Sog you guys rock hard!!!

Seems like I haven't posted here in a while...but yeah Ron is tops...

He runs almost as efficiently as that Z of his!:D

BOK,
I have it on good authority that Ron DOESN'T drive or own that Nissan Z-car that is in his link (he borrowed it from his boss at SOG for the photo), and that he ACTUALLY drives a beat-up '71 Ford Pinto.:D.:D.

Speaking of "Pintos," I actually had a '73 (I think that was the year) Pinto back when I was in High School that was actually quite cool (in perspective). I should post a picture of it. The previous owner tricked out the motor and put a $3,000 paint job on it. Hood scoop, spoiler, big tires on the back, little tires on the front, the works. I had a little kid on a bike pull up next to my car once ask me if my car could "do a wheelie." It looked like it probably could.

SOGman99 is playfully serving up disinformation. There is a lot of "brand loyalty" around SOG. Spencer is a Mazda man (not a Nissan guy), so he might be a little "insulted" ;) by his Spencer/Nissan, Ron/Pinto story. His Mazda could easily smoke my Nissan's doors off.
