Well it loks like Mtech is copying the SOG Daggert now. :mad::thumbdn:

God I hate these import copies. Just thought I would warn al the good people of BF to be careful and study what they buy on ebay.
 
Hey Cris I think I found a fake SOG Night Tech. Is it fake or not? If it is fake they are marked with SOG's log. Ebay item number # 260177316231
 
No worries mate, everyone makes mistakes. I agree with you tho, they should have laws forbidding this. Its no different than copying someone's book and putting down your name as the author where copyright laws would apply.
 
I think its probably fake too since the Nite Tech was made with carbon steel and if I'm not mistaken, the words on the blade should not be in white

Doing the math to convert to inches:
-- blade length is 7.1"
-- blade thickness is .199"
-- total length = 12.20"

Can't be a Nite Tech, since it says the blade is stainless (Nite Tech is carbon steel).

6 to 10 weeks delivery ??????? uh oh ......

They even mention that it's the same design as the SOG. Sad stuff, I rather hate to see any brand copied so blatently. Thanks for the heads up.

That seller from Singapore is mostly likely a fake. I've seen the same thing with Ray-Ban glasses from Malaysia. Even the people that leave feedback say they are good imitations. I just don't get it. We all have common sense but it probably can't be stressed enough not to buy brand names from places like China, Singapore, Malaysia, and so forth. Buyer beware. Ebay can't keep up with these sellers fast enough. Eventually, they get banned but find another way to get back on and do all over again. Ebay. The world's biggest flea market. Stay out of the China Town part of it.
