I was away from the office last week and have finally gotten caught up. I read through what transpired while I was away. None of that needs to happen again. Let's keep the talk about SOG and how SOG is a part of your life be it work, exploring, hunting or just EDC. I am going to go through and lock all the weird threads, no need to keep them going. Also, the DOG # list will be updated as needed. Thanks for keeping track of that so far Alan. I'll add most of this information to that thread so that everything is in one prominent place for all to see.
Yes, I/SOG support the idea of the SOG DOGs. No need for an Alpha Dog any more if any one gets that it will be me, since I am employed by SOG and will be the company representative. I'll go through and get in contact with the winners from the contest and PM you to get your mailing addresses. I'll send out a gift package in the coming week or so.
Joining the SOG DOGs, just need to have a SOG knife to join. Don't need to see a picture of it we trust you. I want to invite anyone to join to SOG DOGs, have a good time and not take this too seriously.
Contests, going forward we will have only one contest running at a time. most likely it will be something that is easy to do or enter and will run for a couple weeks. As long as we are getting a good response we will run a contest each month. if it slows down I'll change it to every other month. If you win you can enter the next contest but you can't win. I want to try to involve everyone so these will tend to be a little effort than a couple of the first contests. Remember this is fun and you can win SOG stuff.
What will you win. Well at this point that will vary per contest but most likely it will be a shirt/hat combo. Sometimes if the contest is more involved I'll up the prize pack with a knife or two. This is all going to depend on response and effort. So get your friends to participate and we can have a great time.
