I've been looking around for less expensive options in terms of fixed blades that I could EDC (Just ordered a BK14) and I came across the SOG Field pup. I was wondering if there were any reputable manufacturers that made a kydex sheath for it. Many thanks.

I don't have one on hand, but I'll help you any way I can.

I can't thank you enough for the offer, but I've decided it'd be simpler just to save up, spend some extra money and buy myself a RAT 3. It's gonna run me about 30 bucks more than a field pup but I figure it's worth it for simplicity's sake. Thanks again for the offer.

To a fellow Texan, take a peek at the ESEE 3, Rowen makes magic with 1095 and mine came razor sharp, and you cant beat the warranty. Just my 2 cents as I've had both and there's no comparison.

I'll send you my ESEE3 if you need some time to see for yourself. Yea, its that good. I have a well used ESEE4 that has proven itself time and time again in the field.

Providing sheaths for one particular dealer has even more solidified my belief in ESEE, I sew a lot of leather for those knives.

IMHO of course, but side by side and in use in the field...... the choice is easy. :)

When it comes to the ESEE 3 vs the RAT 3 there's no debating that the ESEE's better. The real question: is it a whole 40 dollars better? Thanks for the input (:

In my humble and more often than not broke opinion, yes, well worth it. I wasted money before, never again. :D

Alright, I'll definitely give the ESEE some more consideration. I can't thank you enough for the advice, it's always nice to hear from people with a lot more experience than myself.
Have a good one.
