I'm looking to purchase a light fixed blade for squirrels and small game. I was considering the CS mini hunter but just handled the Field Pup and this feels very secure in the hand. Any experience with this model? I have never handled the CS mini but worry about its overall size. Thank-you.

The Field Pup is a great little knife. I believe it is a totally under-rated knife and great for anything from hunting (small and large game), camping companion, to survival knife. You buy these to use as they aren't real expensive. Enjoy!
I just purchase this one from a local vendor with the leather sheath (had a minor defect which SOG CS is going to replace) and I'm impressed with the ergonomics/safety of this knife for $40.--. This one just feels right in your hand.
