SOG Flash 1 w/SOG Assist technology

Anyone have an SOG w/ SAT openning aid ? Looking a a combo edge aluminum handle Flash 1 has 2.5 blade weighs 2 oz. hard to believe.

Rich, Welcome to Bladeforums, I don't own anything except Flash IIs, but I have handled many of the Flash I models, there are great but a little small for me.

I prefer the larger handles on the Flash IIs and I must warn you......these are VERY addictive and loads of fun, but really work hard for you and hold a good edge.

Check over at the blade discussion forum where you first posted , I just left you a reply not realizing you had moved . I would agree with that the Flash I is a bit on the small side , Flash II has a very nice feel to it - sits in the hand nicely.. Good luck ..

I have a Flash II, I asked on this forum and then made my purchase based on the general opinions of everyone.

Excellent knife, excellent action. Reccommended. :thumbup:

I have a flash II with a combo blade. Very great action and I like to wear it tucked in may pants with the clip under the belt. Easy to conceal from prying eyes but easy to get to.

Jeephipwr, welcome to Bladeforums, that is a good place to keep a Flash II, never considered that.

My votes goes to the Flash II as well. I have been amazed at how "small" the Flash II feels. A very useful size and a frequent EDC as it rides so well in the pocket. Can't go wrong!
