A friend has a SOG Assisted fixation. He owned a Flash, Blink and Twitch XL. I'm not a big fan of the Flash, but the Blink and Twitch are very, very nice. Ultra slim and great snap to them. The flash does have a safety though, something you typically don't see on an assisted knife.

What specifically are you wanting to know? I have extensive experience with the whole line of SOG assisted opening knives.

Nice little guy, but I wish it was flippered due to my bad habit of following the blade open

I have a Flash 1 and I don't like it. I'm happy with the Flash II, but the ergos on the Flash I seem to be just a shrunken version of the II. So the finger grooves don't align to anything but maybe a 10-year-old's hands.

I suppose it would be OK as a small pocket knife. I love the low ride of the clip and it would appear quite harmless in your pocket (as the Flash II, does too).

I would recommend a Kershaw Chive or nearly anything else. The Chive has the flipper which is very functional (and fun to play with too!).

I'm late getting into the SOG line up of assisted openers but I sure have fallen hard for this Twitch XL Graphite I traded for recently. I really thought when I said ok to this trade that I'd put it right back on the for sale block like so many others that have come and gone but I'm thinking this one is a keeper for sure. I've been carrying it since getting it in the mail and really like it. It has the flipper on it. Its nice and thin. Doesn't seem to have quite the kick the Kershaws do as far as the spring action but it works fine and I like the size best of all.

I had all three Twitch models, three Flash II's and a Blink. The only one I have left is the Twitch II. All of the models I had worked great, and SOG's customer service is excellent. The Flash II is a great user, I've just graduated to Benchmade since I traded for it. The Twitch II was my EDC for a while, and did great, but I thought it was too nice for EDC, so I put it in the "gentleman carry" spot in my knife roll.
