SOG flash 2: Metal liners?

How do you feel about the strength of the handle? Is it going to be tougher than most zytel handles out there? It says it has glass reinforced zytel.

I have never owned a SOG and after checking out some of them I almost just bought this one on impulse. I thought it would be best to ask before buying.

i myself like the sog flash 2 a lot. it doesnt have liners, but that makes the knife much lighter, which is why its linerless. there is also the aluminum handle flash 2 which is definitely stronger if that suits your needs better. this knife seems to get mixed reviews here, i personally love the flash 2, but ive heard some say they dont like it.
 
Can the slide lock used on it fail under torque?

I think flex is ok for an edc only knife as long as it cant disengage the lock like a liner lock can.
