I've got a few flash knives and one trident, and they all have up and down play, especially the flash knives.

there's almost no side to side play. I guess it's because the stop pin/bar is to small. maybe the lock should be bigger, I don't know.

I believe this is a common complaint about these knives.

sog if you listen, it'd be nice if you could look into this problem. I believe many knife users will stay away from knives with bladeplay, because it's not a sign of quality.

Just curious, were these new or used knives?
From an established vendor or ebay?

It is a common complaint. I see it mentioned quite often.
Maybe I've just been lucky, but none of mine have any bladeplay.
