Size...the Flash I's 3.25" closed with a 2.5" blade. The Flash II's 4.5" closed with a 3.5" blade. Both are light for their size & have AUS 8 blade steel, but I found the Flash I to be too small. Because it doesn't have a flipper, like Kershaw's Chive, I found it too hard for my lg. hands to open it easily.
Flash I is light and tiny. Its not the greatest knife. But it has good steel, and a really great pocket clip. An almost perfect second or third knife to carry because its so unobtrusive.
The Flash II seems much larger in comparison. IMHO it lacks because some of the things that make the flash I so nice because of its increased size.
Have a flash I in my pocket right now; I say in my pocket because the clip broke off within a week of buying it; it is a neat little knife; am also carrying a Dejavoo and have a Wave on my belt. The Flash tends to go where the voo would probably be unwelcome.
