I own a SOG Flash II and I really like it. However, the pocket clip kinda annoys me. I like deep pocket clips, just not this one. When I put it in my pocket, my jeans have a tendancy to fold over the top of the knife, causing it to be difficult to extract without a lanyard. I don't like having a lanyard sticking out all the time, it defeats the purpose of having a deep pocket clip. Here is a picture of what happens:

Does this happen to anyone else? And more importantly, does anyone have a fix for this?

Looks like a problem with your pants. Not trying to be mean or funny. If the materiel is stiff enough it will not slide up there. You could fix it by putting something in the top of the clip, like a piece of plastic or something that won't allow the material to get stuck up there.

I love the Sog Flash II (and Aegis) pocket clip. Super deep carry! Maybe the best in the production bizz.

happens to me i just grab the knife with my thumb at the top of the knife and my index finger around the bottom of the clip and it slides right out

dont let them make you believe its your pants fault, its a design flaw. plain and simple. good thing my benchmade grip doesnt care what kinda pants im wearing. hint hint

That knife is so light, it shouldn't pull the jeans down. Your pair of jeans appears to be 'well worn', so that isn't helping the cause any. When you insert it try and pull up just a tad so there is 1/16" room between the clip and pocket lip. Also remove the clip and close it some so its tighter and will grip the jeans more 'holding' it in place.

Good luck.
