SOG FLASH II Rainbow- QUERY

Have purchase 1 or 2- both of which seem to have "wobble" in the blade next to the frame. Anyone shead some light on WHY? I have ask SOG and I get the Deer in the Headlight answer.... They just do not seem to be TIGHT.
Also----- see very little of these (anywhere)- any reason? Another one for SOG folks...and why so scarce? Tks !

Maybe I missed it, but I couldn't find either Flash 1 or Flash 2 offered with a rainbow Titanium oxide finish on the SOG site. The Rainbow Twitch isn't listed either.

Here's another "Coming soon in 2008" that would be really a cool idea.

We released Rainbow versions of the Flash, Blink, and Twitch about two years ago. We no longer have any stock of them so they are hard to come by.

For the blade "wobble" I would suggest that you could tighten the pivot screw a little, and by a little I mean like 1/8 of a turn. The screw is most likely a 5/64 Allen. Although earlier Flash knives used a Torx screw and I do not remember the exact size. It was either T5 or T6. If you do tighten it do so a little bit at a time as the slightest adjustments can make a big difference.

If you are not comfortable with that you can always send them back to SOG and we can take a look at them for you.
