SOG Flash ll w/ square lock?

My SOG Flash has square locks. I thought the Flash ll has circular pull back lock thing and the Flash l has the square ones? My Flash ll has squares. Help?

I know what you re talking about. The "square" lock is the old version. It sucks. Almost hurts your thumb to operate. If you pick up a newer version it ll have the way better lock!! Similar to the "Axis" lock!! I still like my SOGs no matter how many haters there are here!

Mine uses the arc lock. This older one uses something similar but the lock is rectangular, rather than curved? Is that it?

Hmmm..... Not sure? Their site shows all the 2's shud have the arc style lock?
