Experience: no, I haven't had a chance to play with one. Canada may end up being iffy for them anyway... who knows.
I think the aluminum handled ones are shipping now, or will be shortly.

What I've heard is that they are a really slick knife, I personally want one of the small aluminum handled ones. Small knives I can carry at work...:cool:
 
Do they happen to lock in the closed position at all?

This is the problem I had with a lot of the Speedsafe stuff. I can't carry that stuff with much confidence for fear of it opening in my back pocket or something.
 
Hey BOK,

Look in the picture below and you'll notice the red switch on the upper right side (above the clip), that is the safety that secures it closed...like a gun safety. It works really slick! :)

Wow ok that makes it a lot more appealing!! I may have to pay you that visit sooner than expected just to try one of these babies out!!

Come by anytime! You have a very warm invitation. I have one sleeping bag (actually it's one of my son's "junior" sizes, but you might want to give this to you pregnate wife) and you guys can sleep out in our front driveway. Just don't move at all, or my dual zillion watt motion-activated flood lights will illuminate the driveway (well...ok...the who dang neighborhood) where you'd be "sleeping." It'll just be freeky for you when little beetlebugs set the motion sensor off. By the way, the concrete is not as hard as it looks...really!

Just kidding, bud! You know you're welcome to "party" or "crash" here out West!

as far as the speed safe go, I own several, never had a problem with any of them opening in a pocket. If it is a safety you want the chive, and new leek both have safetys. how is the lockup on the flash, is it solid??? and how is the opening?

Like all productions schedules, things get pushed back ever so slightly. That is the case here. But unforunately, it's been pushed back several times. The best I can say at the moment is "several weeks."

I hope you understand. :)
