SOG folders w/ G10?

After seeing pics on an older thread here, I had to go out and order a SOG Night Vision! I just received it today and couldn't be happier. F&F is the best I've seen on a production folder, action is incredibly smooth, and the blade locks up extremely tight. I've carried a Benchmade probably 90% of the time for EDC, but my SOG will definitely be in my pocket a lot from now on.

Has SOG put out any other folders w/ liners & G10 handles? I have no problems with the tanto blades (having carried a BM Striker for 6 years) but would love to find another knife this nice without a serrated blade, and I understand the vison were only made in very limited numbers w/ a plain edge. I looked on the website, but the only thing that stood out was the trident and I'm not really fond of zytel handles.

Thanks for any info you guys have got.

Walter

Congrats on the Night Vision. That is by far my favorite SOG folder!

Nope, no other G-10 knives from SOG...ever, either past or present (unless I'm losing my mind and have forgotten).

I didn't think so, but thanks for the info.:(

That's ok though, I don't really need to spend any more money on knives right now anyways.

Thanks,

Walter

It certainly is a nice one! Somewhere I have pics of mine with the rainbow blade and liners.
IIRC that voided all Canadian warranties on all SOG knives...

Sure, it look wicked, but does it performs and sharpened nicely?.......case and point, most Spyderco knives look "boring" (the Delicas, Enduras..........) but they perform very well and they being VG-10, can outcut most "economy" knives for not much more money.

I would suggest that SOG put their minds in innovation instead of trying to market your product by "appearance" and "name"............

Cheers,

Juice

Juiceseller,

I've seen a handful of "pro-other-brand" posts from you here in the SOG forum. Though this forum is lax about the discussion of "other" brands, it is in fact a "SOG" forum. I would suggest that you keep your conversation SOG-related and move your posts about other brands to other forums.

Also, SOG has won more Blade Magazine awards than most other knife manufacturers (included "Overall Knife of the Year" and best "innovation"). A company doesn't receive that kind of accolade based only on "marketing."
