SOG Folding Saw vs UST Chain Saw

To compare notes then:

I prefer a little bow saw for efficiency and that there's not much that can go wrong. Spare blades are very light. Bow saws don't always fit in well with what I'm doing so I just put one head to head with a folder.

The wood has been drying in my possession for a couple of years and it wasn't fresh when I got to it. Both cuts were very close to 4.5cm. Both saws took about 30 seconds at what I think would be a fair but sustainable rate for each tool. As I already knew the bow saw is the way to go for comfort so certainly the kit to have if there's a bunch to be cut, but on the basis of single stick trials there's not much between them on time.
