I just saw the new SOG Forge over at GP knives. Looks like a very nice, collectible blade. I like the hammer marks on the San Mai. Anyone else checking out this blade?
 
I've been looking at this one. There are a few details I don't really care for, but it seems like a knife that people have been wanting from SOG for a while now; full exposed tang and a premium steel. If I can afford it, I'd like to get one.
 
I'll be looking at a fixed blade this year and the Forge looks quite appealing. :thumbup:
 
I'd like to pick one of these up, but the price is a little much for a small vg10 steel, plus this knife would be only for fondling, beautiful blade.
 
Have to admit this blade has had my interest. Full slab of VG-10 for this price is intriguing. Don't really see a point in a 'display' knife, so would have to use it. The price is a bit steep but not out of user range.. Will have to see what the tax man brings me.. I'm a 'dink' so probably not much....
 
If it was about $150, I would consider it, but I think the Cold Steel R1 Military Classic is much more appealing at the $200 price point. IMO, pretty much all of SOG's stuff is overpriced for what you get.
 
I have one NIB...I got it on trade they retail for 350 IF you can find them since they are limited. This thing isn't my type of knife.
