Spencer is out of town for a bit, so I'll have to wait to find out for sure. If I were to guess, since we use SK-5 (I'm told it is similar to 0-1) on other SOG knives in carbon steel, it might be the same on this prototype. The production model is AUS8A.

We've got several contestants who've posted already. Come one, come all. This knife is up for grabs!

By the way, I have this knife on my desk right now. I can assure you it is perfect, beautiful, and a true work of art.
