Any reviews for the SOG Fusion Salute....i got one for 14 bucks new in the box...should i keep it or send it back...

Do you like it? Is it sharp? It is decent quality and not falling to pieces out of the box? If the answer to these questions is yes, keep it!

I can't imagine sending anything back that costs 14 dollars. I'd pay 14 dollars to not have to go to the post office.

Except for Cuttlerylover's vid, only rarely mention here.

There was one concern about the metal sticking out of the handle "might" dig into your hand. Overall, most say it's a serviceable cheap folder.

I've had one for a good while now and use it around the house a lot. Great knife, solid lock razor sharp and holds it's edge really well.

It's one of the better imported knives I've had.

Still looking for some reviews on this knife, lets forget about sending it back...How is this knife and how does it perform..i actually did not receive it yet...

14 bucks?

thats a steal! I'd keep it, I wrote a review little while back on knifetests.com

It is a very high value folder, I'd say. Solid lockup, good length, good blade shape, G10.. standard, not really grippy, but whatever. Only negative really about it for what it is, see the bit of steel liner that pokes out near the butt of the knife with oblong holes in it? It cuts into your hand a bit after prolonged use.

other than that, it's great. Steel is 8Cr13MoV.. so very easy to sharpen, but doesn't keep it for really long. Btw did you get the black oxide or the bead blast? My bead blasted one started pitting because I wasn't taking care of it, so be careful about that

^ Hey! Thanks for chiming in! It was YOU I was trying to remember who had that knife

you might be mistaken, the clip can be switched for left or right carry, but is only tip-up

It does, however, have an adjustable thumbstud, which is kind of neat. You can adjust it according to your hand size. I threaded a ziptie through the space unnoccupied by the thumbstud to make it "waved"
