SOG Fusion Tomahawk

I have been looking around here and cant find any info or reviews of the this Tomahawk, Could someone post some pics (with the sheath in them would be great), A link to a review would also be nice, Im new to tomahawks and only have a Cold Steel Norse Hawk as of now, but i want to get the SOG and the American Tomahawk Lagana.

By the way anyone have any suggestions to go along with those 2 im fascinated by tomahawks now. Thanks a lot fellas

Ummm... from what I've heard and read the Fusion Tomahawk is a piece o' crap. Not throwable. Crap steel. etc. Good choice on the CS Norse hawk it's one of my favorite throwers. Pass on the SOG, go with the ATC. Trust me, you'll be a lot happier in the end.

Well since the SOG isnt much from what i have read ill just get the ATC instead of getting both are there any other good hawks out there In the $135 and less range??

Knuckle Buster thanks for the reply, but i have a taste for the more modern styling and materials.

The K5 is a little over your price range, but they're hard to beat. Damn near indestructible. I use mine for demolition... TOPS has an outfitter axe (not a hawk) that looks pretty useful.

Hmmm that ranger looks pretty cool I only saw 2 on their site, One had a spike & hawk head and wood handle and the other was called the entry tool and looked predominately uncomfortable. thanks for the info im Definately going to get the ATC Lagana.

I have read that the ATC hawks are not the greatest for throwing, as the handles will loosen up with time.

ATC VTAC hawk handles do not come loose..They are great for throwing.
You got the wrong info from someone !

how are they attached? As far as I can tell, they are not friction fit like normal throwing hawks. It might have been a Cold Steel version of the hawk that became loose, but either way, I would like to know how the handle is attached.

That topic pretty much petered out when it was established that the SOG fusion is crap. I am not interested enough in the ATC hawks to start a new thread about them.

agreed, im interested in knowing about the ATC a little more as well so dont worry about getting off of the SOG, or should i start a new thread.
