SOG Growl

Does anyone have any specific usage experience with the SOG Growl? How sharp is the edge when it comes out of the box? Is the steel of a satisfying quality as far as thoughness and edge retention is concerned?

Loooking forward to any input on these questions.

hi, I have a Tangle, I gather its similar as far as steel and finish to the growl. I've been happy with it, sharp out of box and have worked at some wood and butchered some sheep with it and its held up pretty well.
