SOG Heartbreak

Hello everybody I'm new to this forum,and have just started to collect SOG,I have a Bowie,and a Scuba Demo,and have been waiting for bloody ages for a Trident.Well it finaly came the other day and i could barley contain myself, I took it out and i was almost struck dead it had a huge scratch wright down the middle,i bet you could guess how i felt i guess i'll have to waite another age to get a new one anybody else with any horror storys please let me know or am i suffering on my own.:grumpy:

SOG has great customer service( the BEST i have EVER dealt with, thanks Mike!!! ). let them know and they will correct the problem

I am sure that SOG will take care of you if you call the fine folks there at 1-888-SOG-BEST. Tell them exactly what happened, where you got it, etc. Occasional mistakes happen.
OTOH, you could think of it as "character", the knife is begging to be used...

It sucks when something like that happens be it a knife or anything else (I recently bought a coffee machine and have a 3 week wait on a part that was broken when i bought it).

Sog will make things right for you. It is bad that it happened but Sog know customer service and of all the knives I have purchased (well over 50- hell I have 5 models of the one knife ) only one has ever had a problem and that was quickly fixed up.
