Robbie,
I ordered a SOG Revolver and am now waiting on it's arrival. I have some yard work that needs attending to . I'll put it to work when it comes. ;)

Scott, that is good to hear, glad you got one, you will love the way it works for you. Let me know what your impressions are, and have fun with that saw, it is amazing. Which model did you get ? Hunter or Seal Satin or Tini ? Thanks.
Robbie Roberson. ;)

I went with the hunter model. I'm not much of a gut hook user, but I always like to try different styles of hooks to see how they work. It will come in handy for cutting vines and greenbriar.

Great ! I know you will love the saw, it is a double cut, it cuts very fast. You will like the Hunter, it is very sharp and the AUS 8 is easy to resharpen if needed. Once you start cutting with the saw, just use steady even cuts, and you will be amazed at the size of trees and limbs it will cut. Enjoy it.

Got the hunter Revolver today. It's super sweet. The saw is unreal! I had an old broom handle and sawed through it in about four to six strokes! Very aggressive cutting action. I like the blade shape as well, with the flat grind. The blade should do well with game processing. The handle was very comfortable. You do have to be alert when revolving from one blade to the other. The pin that holds the blade in the handle is very ingenious. I've never seen anything like it. It's extremely well thought out and very well made. Boy and to top it off, I got the designer's autograph right on the blade! ;) Good job Robbie and the folks at SOG.

Scott, thanks for the kind words, yes, the saw is very sharp, and it's best to read and practice a minute or two, once you do it a couple times, it's like second nature. The saw will cut like crazy, and the overall function is so simple. Don't you wish you had this thing many years ago ?
I heard there is another review in some gun magazine in the UK, wish I could see this. I sincerely hope you enjoy the knife, I think the more you take it out and use it, the more you will realize it really works well, and saves loads of time. Try it a while and give me some more feed back, I would love to hear it, thanks again.

Scott, you be sure and use that bad boy to get some meat for this winter, just think how well it will clear the limbs out of the way for your line of sight. And maybe you will feel a little more secure in the woods knowing you ALWAYS have a survival saw for fire wood.
The really cool part about this knife is it will lock in the sheath, with saw locked in, or blade, whichever you may be using the most at the time, makes it a little safer for tree climbers also, because you will always have a saw blade ready, as you climb.
