SOG Huntspoint - S30V

I'm looking to purchase the SOG Huntspoint - Skinning with the wood handle for a fathers day gift. I noticed there are two available. One is $90 and the other is $140. The only difference is the blade. Is the one with the S30V Blade worth the extra $50?

That would depend on how often the person who gets this knife will actually use it. If they are a seasonal hunter and will only use it a few times a year the regular version will be fine. If they hunt alot and it will get alot of use between sharpenings then go with the S30v.
