hello bladeforums. one thing i love about sog are their designs. i dont know what it is but their classic sog style bowie shape always gets me. i own a bower safari and its not nearly as good as the real thing, although it still looks good. anyways, i had a flash one and want to buy another one. i have a magnadot, seal pup, and trident 2.0. the magnadot i got for christmas from my wife and it is very solid and comfortable. not legendary edge holding, but quite strong. ive pried with it a few times and havnt lossened it at all. my seal pup has very good edge holding and the coating is scuff resistant and looks really good. i love holding it. it fits my hand so well and slices very well, including the serrations which i enjoy that it is only a small portion of the blade. good tip strength too surprisingly. i think the sheath is good quality. the trident 2.0 is one of my flagship fighters along with my cold steel r1 military classic and ka bar d2 extreme. the trident is beautiful, classy, effective, ceremonial and functional. i do have to be honest and say i had to sand the handle edges down with a scotch brite wheel, and as heavy and thick as it is its totally worthless for chopping, but i still love it a lot. i have minor problems with the sheath but one plus is the strap is on the 'you wont cut it pulling it out' side :) its loose enough to pull it out without unbuttoning it though :(
