What is the general thought on SOG knives, How would knives like the PUP, pentagon or any of there knives rate, in function.

The one I have is a folder. It is a decent knife built like a Tank. It is rather heavy that is why I don't EDC it. It did come with a nylon sheath... Cordura?

I have a Flash II, seal team elite, 2 seal pups and a powerlock. They are all great for their intended uses. I have beat the crap out of one of my seal pups for years in the military and outdoors activities and it has been great. My Flash II is a lightweight and versatile EDC. I recently got a seal team elite and it is a good all around field blade. My powerlock has helped me out daily doing mechanical duties just today in fact I used it to strip wires and work on my mountain bike. SOG makes a good knife and you cant go wrong with one.:)

I have the Seal Pup Elite, Seal 2000, Pentagon, Tomcat I, Daggert 2, Twitch 2 and I'm happy with all of them!

Good knife in every way. Maybe little overpriced ( price of design ).

I have an SOG Arcitech with carbon fibre scales. Very solid knife. Pricey, but not out of line with other offerings that have titanium liners/bolsters and above average blade steel.

No regrets here.

I have a SOG Seal Pup elite with partial serrations with a black coating. I love it. Simply excellent. It may be made it Taiwan, but who cares? As long as the company is reputable, good steel (the knife is AUS-8 BTW), and strict quality control I don't.
