SOG knocking off SanRenMu :)

It's kinda hard to see on this pic, but the SOG in the package is EXACTLY the same as the SanRenMu in my pocket, just scaled up about 10 to 20%. I guess this settles whether or not SanRenMu makes knives for SOG.

Reminds me of at least one Coast knife.

I'm fairly sure Ganzo is making knives for SOG too. They have a model that is identical to the SOG Salute.

SOG copies a lot of designs, but give them a pass on this one. I have a large "Sogzilla" that a (non-knife knowing) friend gave me as a gift last year, I appreciated it, and hte knife is OK, not terrible but not great. Kind of like an Endura using Chinese steel and looser QC standards.

I would bet that they just had Sanrenmu make it for them, like how CRKT has the Sanrenmu 707 made for them as the Drifter.
