Good day. I have a couple folders I got at Eddie Bauer a while back that have SOG stamped on them.

Are these in fact made by this SOG?

Thanks for the help in advance. I'll try and post a pic tonight.

Hi Mike,

Great to have you visit. Jerry and I have been trading some emails. I'm trying to join the "Natural Outlaw Club." :D

We have sold through EB for many years (some years more than others). My guess is that if it's stamped "SOG," it's ours. But I'd like a better description of the knife/tool before "certifying" it ours. :)

Ron, you will love being in that "club"...;)

Then you'll have to spend some time on Jerry's forum.

I will try and get a pic up tomorrow ir this weekend.

Thanks for the response.

Hey Mike,

Talking about pictures, I've been searching high and low for larger, high quality images of your products (especially the NO) than your website offers. You guys have any?

BTW...I am a lurker in your great forum.

Me three...
Busse knives are different than SOGs, I really like both!!!:D

Have you seen the pics on this site?

I can't put my hands on the folder just yet. I will tear the house apart this weekend.

I get "register.com" from that link...???

Hi Mike,

I was hoping more for higher res images starting at 800 dpi (preferably over 1000). Those are still a bit small. Us high bandwidth guys with high tech computers get a bit spoiled at what we view. ;) I did find a few, though, here that were nice, but he put type on some of the pictures.

Rob: The link works for me. Here's the url: http://www.badmojo.tv/

Ron,

Finally able to post pics again.

Here is the slipjoint I was asking about.

Any info would be appreciated, along with any market value knowledge.

Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,

I completely forgot we put the Eddie Bauer name on that knife! Thanks for the reminder.

What you have there is the SOG Attache. I pulled out one of our old brochures to drum up the details for you. Here's the two models we made:

Attache:
  • Blade length: 2" x .100"
  • Overall length: 5"
  • Mirror polished, drop point AUS6 (440A) blade
  • Weight: 1.7oz
  • Leather handles in brown and black
  • Steel liners
  • Slipjoint blade action
  • Snap ring keychain clip
Attache Lockback:
  • Blade length: 2.75" x .125"
  • Overall length: 6.5"
  • Mirror polished, drop point AUS6 (440A) blade
  • Weight: 3.5oz
  • Leather handles in brown and black
  • Steel liners
  • Lockback
  • Snap ring keychain clip
These are very elegant, sophisticated knives. I understand the need to drop low selling knives from a manufacturer's line, but this is sure a sweet little knife and very missed.

Thanks for reminding us of it.

Ron, thanks for the response.

Yes, very sweet little blade. Razor sharp out of the gate. Tough little pup. Sometimes it pays to keep your eyes open.
