I bought this SOG Night Vision in 2002 and it has been opened and closed like in the video below thousands of times........:D

I have carried it in a friction, horizontal sheath under my shirt since the day I bought it in 2002. It is fast to open, easily concealed and I could not imagine not having it.

I made the horizontal sheath to carry for concealment and ease of access.........I don't have to reach in my pocket and I can "fiddle" with my shirt tail in the front without being noticed, and have the knife out and opened in a couple seconds flat.

Thankfully I have never had to use it for anything except opening boxes or cutting paper....:p

By the way, I'm 56 years old. :)

Anyone else care to talk about the SOG knife they carry and how long ?

That's one thing I have to say Sog has going for them. Their folders are Smooth...At least the Arc-Lock one's anyway.

I'm very pleased with my Vulcan and Pentagon Elite II. Very smooth opening and solid lock up.
 
Nice. That's great to hear. I've only had my Visionary knives for a couple of years. It's good to know the they hold up so well! :thumbup:
