How is SOG on warranties? I have a combo edge Flash II that I got maybe 2-3 years ago. It's been my EDC for quite some time until recently.

At the end where the clip is the plastic/zytel handle has a crack in it and the clip can move horizontally. Not too big of a deal, so I just put up with it.

Recently the blade has been opening in my pocket and the spring-assisted opening part has gotten a lot slower than when it was new - and some blade play too.

Is this something SOG has covered in anyone's past experience?

It's a great knife that I'd hate to stop carrying.

Thanks!

You should contact Sog at their warranty department to see what they will and will not cover. Chris is the mod here for sog. He may reply to this thread also and let you know.

Awesome, thanks for the reply. I snapped some pics of the clip with my phone as well if that makes that any more clear:

No personal experience, but from the posts I've seen the warranty department is decent.

I'd do as Steve suggested and contact SOG. They have a toll free number on their web site.

Since you have several problems, it may need a trip back to them.

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

That is not very hard to fix. If they won't cover it. Should be a torx T-6. bend it back to shape add a little blue loc tite and screw it back down.
