Hello,
First time posting here. I have a PE II that is about a year old. Today was doing some cleaning, and removed the cam lock screw pin to get at the kidney shaped recess. I noticed that there was a spring lying across the cam lock when I started, but after running a Q-Tip through it to get all the gunk out, the spring was gone/had disengaged, and the cam lock no longer funtioned. The blade is now "limp," and does not remain locked open, or shut. Upon inspection, I noticed two little pins on the inner liner that are sticking up about half a mm. I assumed that this was the cam lock spring, and that it was now inside the liner. I do not want to procede until I know exactly what is going on. I emailed Mike at SOG, but unfortunately this was after business hours. Does anyone have a clue what I have done to my baby? Are there any exploded parts diagrams that can detail just what went wrong? Thanks for all the help.
