Just purchased a PE from my local dealer. Absolutely love the piece. Light weight, quick to open either using wrist action or the little push piece (whatever you call it). Just wish they came with a sheath of some sort and the clip starts to wear out my pockets. Also, Now that I have this beauty, what next. Thinking about something in the multi tool range, but not sure which one.

powerlock is a good tool, but there are certainly many out there... Just depends if you are LOYAL!?!?!?!?!? :D

I'm sold on SOG products. The PE was perfect out of the box. This tells me a lot about the company. Also, the gentleman who sold it to me raved on and on about SOG-he even showed me his SOG (don't recall which model he had). When a sales-person, who sells many, many different brands is hot for one particular brand, this tells me something. And having been in retail for many years before I got into my current career, I know when it is BS or the truth.

SOG sure does make some great stuff. Probably why I have about 10 SOGs right now. :) The newest of which is a PEII with the masive 5" Blade! :D :D Got it Friday afternoon from a Fellow Forum member and love it.

Glad you like your PE. Have you had much chance to use it yet?

Wildmanh,

Gosh ! another one, how many SOGs do you need ? :D

He could send me something sometimes............ :( I don't have many......... :(

Robbie Roberson ;)

Robbie, I have a small assortment of SOGs. Only 11 and 1/4 (SOG Bowie being part yours and all ;)). The PEII will be my last for a while too, unless a Field knife or Field pup comes over to play. ;)

Yes, I have had a chance to use it. Where I live is right next to a freeway. Yesterday, I was out doing my weekly yard work, when there was a horrendous crash right about 20 feet from where I was. Immediatetly ran over to the wall that separates us from the freeway. There were two cars imbedded into each other. The passenger in one was trapped by his seatbelt. I jumped over the wall and ran to the car. (My wife says I am totally crazy to do this). Reached thru the passenger side and sliced the seatbelt with one pass of the PE. By this time, the ParaMedics had arrived and they took over. Afterwards, I am sitting on my front step, just shaking from head to foot. OD on adrenelin I guess. Anyway, the PE is just great!!
