SOG Pentagon

I intend to buy either the smaller version with 3.5" or 5" blade of SOG Pentagon fixed blade.
Is there any difference between the two, besides the blade length?
I plan to use it for backup/defense...

Pentagon - Blade 5" x .160"/Overall 9.75" /Steel AUS6A Stainless/Rc. 56-57/Kraton Handle/Weight 5.8 oz./Kydex Sheath

I received the small one a couple of days ago, and I'm very pleased with it.

SOG must have switched from leather to Kydex, because it says leather sheath in the little brochure...
