SOG Powerlock Question

I received my SOG Powerlock yesterday in the mail that I got off ebay for $45 brand new. So far I'm pretty satisfied with it although some of the functions seem to be sub-par to my Powerassist. Things like the Piano Lock on my PA were much better for locking the inside tools which brings me to my first question. I was looking through the SOG website at multi-tools and I came across mine (which is the B-61 Powerlock version in Black). While looking through the pics I saw a different lock for the interior tools. Is that lock better??? I noticed my tools were a little difficult to lock in sometimes so I was wondering if the newer lock on the newer Powerlocks is better. I noticed a few other changes as well, but right now I'm most concerned with the new locks. Any thoughts would be much appreciated!!!

I thought that single bar lock was the older version... but now I'm not sure if they are going back to it or what. there are lots of versions of the SOG pliers, I know that when I got mine I quickly re-loaded it and i took some time to tweak it so the locks would work well, not sure if maybe some factory loads-outs might not be lined up as well. You can contact SOG for a set of shims and spacers, I found that helped lots. It could also be that your powerlock is a bit out of line, like mine was that can put odd tension on the locks and keep them from working right. shimming can fix that.
