I have a now discontinued SOG Powerlock Traveler. Really haven't used too much and its been with me mainly only in those situations where I need a multitool but no knife blade.
Been doing some reading about tool swapping on the Powerlock and SOG tools in general. I'm thinking about doing some reconfiguring.
I'm assuming that the Powerlock Traveler allow for tool swapping like the standard Powerlock - looks like it would.
What I'm looking to do is the following:
Replace the file on the Traveler with a V cutter. I think the V cutter falls into the "long tool" category and could be a replacement for the file.
I did look into this at some point awhile ago, but can't find the info, but I seem to remember something about with Powerlocks its either a V cutter or scissors - that the location is set for either of those tools and the V cutter can't be put anywhere else. Is this true?
So, asking those who know, can I swap the file for a V cutter on the Powerlock Traveler?
I guess if the same could be said for the Powerlock with Scissors if saw could be swapped for a V cutter.
Any assistance appreciated. Thanks.
