Sog Powerlock?

The SOG PowerLock is a excellent multitool, but it is large and heavy. The SOG (Deluxe) Pocket PowerPlier is built just as well, but is smaller and lighter.

I have it. The pliers aren't bad, but that's about it. I don't care for the other tools that much. I love my Swiss Tool and you can get a version with scissors instead of the serrated blade. However many think the pliers on the Swiss Tool aren't that great. So I guess it depends on how important the pliers are to you.

I carry a PowerLock as my EDC. It is large and heavy, but it is also very tough and versatile.

The PowerPlier does not have scissors. Just be aware that the scissors on the PowerLock are not the best. They work okay for most purposes, but mine came dull as a driveshaft and the thin handles make it painful to cut harder materials with them.

One of the nicest things about the various SOG multi-tools is that they are user adjustable and configurable. The tools and pivots use hex bolts that can be unscrewed with pliers (or with little wrenches that are available from SOG). You can adjust the tension any way you like. You can also swap out tools to suit your needs. (I replaced the partially serrated knife blade with a sheepfoot fully-serrated.)
