I got a SOG Gov-Tac.

How do you get the knife out of the sheath once you get it in?

There has to be a easier way to do it then just pull hard. In fact the two wings hold so tight that you can not just pull it out you have to spread the wings and it is not easy to do even that.
 
Also, you could post it in the SOG forum here; they may have a better idea.

SOG sheaths suck.

Personally, I even preferred the old nylon ones to the new ones (although I may be alone on this) -- but at least I didn't get little black plastic shavings every time I remove my knife...

Don't know about the leather ones that come with the Bowies...
