Sog Seal 2000 !!!!!

Weeeeeeeeeeee!!! Finally getting this knife I've wanted for sooo long :) One thing I always loved about SOG is their blade are like axes. Very strong knives. I'll let everyone know when I get tomorrow how many pages through my economics textbook it can pierce. :p
So far my KABAR usmc fighting can piece a lil over 400+ pages. Any bids on what the SOG can do?:D
 
The SOG is pointier than the Ka-Bar. Your economics book may not be thick enough to stop it :) Seriously, it's a great knife. I gave one to my brother-in-law, who's a police officer, for his gear bag.
 
If you are this impressed with the SOG Seal 2000, then you MUST get its' "big-brother", the SOG Tigershark.

I have all 3 SOG "Seals"...The Seal Pup, Seal 2000, and Tigershark, and I have to say that this trio makes for a nice "set"...(Sort of like how the Camillus/Becker BK-10, BK-7 and BK-9 also makes a nice "set" of small, medium, and large.).
 
I have one of the older Tigersharks (non-serrated), it is a beast! One of my favorites. The old catalog showed it being shot point blank by a 9mm, and it was splitting the bullet in half! There was even lead buildup on the blade from all the previous attempts to get the right picture, this was the 17th shot.
 
LOL I just saw the pic of the shark, and all I did was laugh out soo hard ;) That thing is KRAAZIE. I am getting comfortable wi tthhe 7" inch blades for now. When I graduate from that ill try out the Shark.:D
 
IIRC the Tigershark is made of SK-5, which is the company's non-stainless high carbon steel.

Got my SOG Seal today :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D This thing is soooo nice! Very sharp as well. Ill post later how many pages it pierced ;)

The current SOG Tigershark is made out of AUS-6.
 
Ah yes piercing a textbook!

I can remember when i got a cold steel master tanto a while back and i used it to pierce a hole in my SAT review book. That was the only time i actually used the book. With no studying what so all i got a 1270 on my SAT's, must have given me good luck!!!!
