SOG Seal pup elite piercing potential

Anyone know the capabilities of piercing with the elite.
Do the rasps get in the way of piercing?

IMHO the geometry of the Pup is different enough from that of the larger bowies that it effects the piercing force needed in a negative way. I feel the the blade of the Pup is more like a modified clip point than the longer radius on the bowie. For piercing the SOG OPS will out do it. I also would personally smooth out the notches on the front third of the blade and lower the height of the thumb rise. In fairness though I like the difference in the blade geometry as far as use as a general purpose knife.
