Sog seal pup

Hi...just bought a seal pup from Walmart and couldn't find any info on what blade material it is. Knife is M37N-6129. Went to Sog's site but no info. Researched online and some say its aus6 and others say aus8. Just wanted to see what blade it really is. I know all the elites are aus8 but some regular ones are also aus8.

Hi! The Seal Pup uses AUS8. The older version of it used AUS6. The difference is that the newest one is identical(in looks) to the Seal Pup Elite with the exception of a thinner stock and a different bladefinish(grey powdercoat)

Thanks guys......makes me happier knowing its aus8 instead of aus6. I noticed that some are being sold new that are advertised as aus6.....are these the older ones.

I'm sure the difference is negligible, especially for the Walmart crowd.
