I would like your opinion of either the elite satin or black Ti non-serrated blade. Thanks!

I would go with non serrated. Once I learned how to at least put a descent edge on a knife, serrations have been a pain in the ass to me. The dont cut clean and are a bitch to sharpen. Keep your plain edge sharp and you should be good to go. Color is whichever one looks better for you. I dont beleive this knife comes in a satin finish, but they do have a grey colored coating, which is what I think you are referring to. So it brings you back to which one looks cooler to you.

i have a seal pup elite i recently pimped it out gave mine a green paracord wrap and took all the shit of the back of the sheth and added a steel clip from a tape mesure it works realy good for me and is one of the best knives i own but be careful if you hit anything hard it will chip but not real bad mine is satin and it washes up good after a day of choping saplings and small trees

I have one with the satin blade. Great knife but I've had problems with the cheezy kydex sheath breaking. I even got the newer "jump" rated sheath and the knife fell out once when the insert fell out. SOG does not warranty their sheaths and I ended up buying a Kabar Shorty leather sheath which works just fine. I saw one for trade recently in the Exchange forum.
