Just picked up a sog sealup online for 49.00 at Botach.com pretty decent buy compared to the other sights I've seen I'm gonna give this a try as my survival knife and beat it into the ground I'll keep you informed of its performance throughout can't wait till it arrives!!!!
 
If you beat it into the ground, you'll dull your blade before you get to use it.............:D

Botach has a horrible reputation - both on forums and with the BBB and consmer-protection folks. They also ripoff designers of products.

I congratulate you. You took a roll with pig and came out clean. That is good luck.
 
Definetly let us know whow it works, i bought the grohmann #4 over that knife, and I've constantly wondered how it would have worked.
 
RR, you ordered the knife, but haven't received it, correct? Keep us posted. I've read a lot of negative things about Botach and would like to hear about your experience with them.

On a related note, I bought a knife on ebay last year from a seller called TacticalGuerilla. When I received the package, it had Botach's name and address on the return label. I will say that from beginning to end, the transaction went off without a hitch, and shipping was fast.


As or the SEAL Pup, it looks like you got a decent deal. I've always wanted to get a SEAL Pup to pair up with my SEAL 2000. But because the SEAL 2000 rarely gets out of the barn these days, I keep putting the Pup acquisition on the back burner.
