Sog & Sk-5 steel

Call them and ask. From what I read in another forum, it is a very high quality high carbon tooling steel.
 
I went and asked on their forum but recieved an ambiguous answer.I wanted to see if knife forum was getting more action than they were a couple of months ago. I know Joe Talmage (sp) in his steel faq's and reviews is real good about saying "the NGS steel being touted as the wonder steel by comany MD is basically
0-1 with a bit more carbon" Man that guy is a wealth of info. NGS steel stands for New Greatist Sh--. anyway I was hoping someone here might know what SK-5 kind of translated into. What properties it had.
