SOG Spec Elite 2 good EDC folder?

Was wondering if anyone has any experience with the spec elite mini? Or any oer folders for that matter?

I'm looking for a solid EDC folder that will hold up to moderate punishment (I tend to abuse my gear) I'd like something 3" or less as I'll be carrying it in an urban setting.

If anyone has any advice, I'd really appreciate it.

I definitely meant to write spec elite mini, not 2.
 
Ha! I immediately thought "Wow, that guys must be a seriously big dude if he EDCs a 5" blade!"

I know Woods Monkey did a fairly positive write up about the Spec Elite Mini and I'm really quite happy with the Spec Elite 1 I have (poor mans Benchmade 710), but I'm really hesitant to recommend SOG. They have a long history of QC issues which seem to be compounded by sometimes poor customer service. I like their designs, but if I'm recommending something for someone else I'd say go with a BM 707 or Mini Grip if you want the lock or a Spyderco Delica or Caly 3 if you want the Steel. I think any of those will be much more consistently made offerings.
