I got a seal pup and love the knife. I've heard alot of great things about VG10 steel but not much about AUS6 which is the steel of the seal, is it a high quality steel, and do the NAVY SEALS really use the seal knife? I know alot of manufacturers say things like "used by some elite group" to try to boost sales.

The Seal pup is a very popular knife, the steel is considered a good all round steel for edge holding and easy resharpening. I would guess there are some soldiers of most branches carrying Seal pups and it's big brother, the Seal 2000.
