SOG-Tac auto country of origin?

Where is the sog tac auto manufactured? I only ask since the blade steel is marked as AUS8 on most sites but im not used to seeing aus8 steel used in the US. And if the knife is indeed made in part or in whole overseas isnt sog setting itself up for a huge disaster kinda like what spyderco went through awhile back for violating switchblade laws even though at the time it wasnt even a switchblade that got them in trouble?

Maybe you can assume Taiwan... The Japanese made folders like the Acritech are higher priced.

I think it might be made in the US. If I'm not mistaken, SOG's folders are all made in the US or Japan.
