SOG Team Leader 1st SOG Made

Hi Guys,

I've got a 1986/87 SOG SEAL Team Leader folder with a high polish, deeply blued pointy blade, stainless guard with a black micarta grip. This is their 1st knife that was made, it sold for $169 back then and I'm curious if anyone can tell me what the going price is for it today.

I've been told that there were less than 500 made and that these are very rare.

I'm not going to be much help here on the price. If it is in new condition, maybe twice retail?

There were several versions of this knife, including sterile verions and stainless steel. You can find more information about it HERE.

Thanks but I've got a cellphone that allows me to speak to anyone in the world from anywhere in the world and since I hate that heidious creature Carrottop with a passion, I'd rather string together 2 soup cans, then use his 10-10 service.

Chris, I'd hate to saddle you with a worthless piece like this, so I'm thinking of giving it to the International Muslim Relief & Terrorist Fund that's helping to support those in training and the families of baby killing psycho's who think that they'll actually get to screw 72 virgins. Wouldn't that be considered pre-mediated adultery since the only real reason these lowlifes are blowing themselves up, is with the knowledge that they're going to get their wicks wet?

The SOG that Ron posted is the exact knife that I've got and mine is brand new in the orig black cordura case. I guess I'll have to shop around to find out what it's worth.
