SOG Tech Bowie - Any change to TiNi finish on current production?

Has there been a change to the TiNi finish of the Tech Bowie on current production runs? I know the Tech Bowie had a shiny/glossy TiNi finish but some folks have told me that as of late the current ones are shipping with the matte finish.

Most of my TiNi finished SOG's have a more matted look to them. I suspect that that may have more to do with the amount of polish on the blade metal verses the TiNi it self.

You may be right. Im assuming the black TiNi tech bowie is just the coated version of the polished satin bowie, but now that may have changed. I have been told some are receiving some with the matte finish similar to what is on the Seal Team Elite.

I have another coming in a few weeks so we will see how it looks.
