Would anyone happen to know where I can get a better sheath for a Sog Tigershark Elite? I got a look at the nylon sheath it comes with, and it doesn't
really suit my tastes. I was hoping to find something in a high-grade nylon with a strong protective insert. I already check survivalsheath.com They have a sheath, but it's listed for the older Sog TS model. Any help is always appreciated, thank you in advance.

DS..

what you might want to do is: just start going down the master list of sheathmakers (it's a sticky at the top of the threads) and email each one of them until you find one that has your knife on hand. if you give up, after the first 20 or 50 you check with, then just pay the extra shipping and send them your knife. i have clients ship in knives and i've found that it doesn't add as much as you'd expect to the box as compared to just mailing the sheath. the big difference is it has to go both ways as compared to a sheath making a one way trip.

btw - skip me, when you go down the list cuz i can tell ya i don't have one on hand and would need your knife, plus i currently have a 4 week back log :(

edit to add - i don't know why, but for some reason, i'm thinking your knife and LEATHER would be a cool combo :)

Or maybe leather with a kydex insert like this Seal 2000

I wish I could afford a custom-made sheath, but I can't at the moment. I'll likely have to craft what I have in mind myself. Knowing my luck, though, I'll make a big goof of it. I'm practicing in modifying a finished product--not making them :)

You know, I looked at that sheath again today. That is one classy sheath! Has a vintage
sort of look to it as well. Very nice. Also changed my mind about the knife I want to :P.
Tastes change. Some are too small, others too big. I want something just in the middle. (Also, this might allow me to put back enough to afford a nice sheath to go with it...:) )
