SOG tigershark original or 2.0?

So im on the brink of buying either the tigershark original or the 2.0.Honestly I don't know that much about blades and need info to make the right choice!

Neither.
Spend more time on the boards before making a decision. There are better large fixed blades at that price.

Original seki made carbon steel knife. If it's powder coated and has some serrations it's the aus6 stainless model and IMO not worth the money. They are hard to find now though.

There are knives that are probably better suited for most uses now if you're not just a collector. Across the board there are better knives at better values now than ever before in my life and I'm closing in on 50.

If you can find one of the originals, with the SK5 carbon steel, get it. Otherwise, there are much better knives out there.
